| Comments: | The second annual 'Pizza, Pipes and Pedals' was attended by 35 youth. The following four students won free organ lessons from a drawing:
Student Teacher
Mike Lambert Rob Williamson
Joanna Ng Harrison Zoercher
Jessica Ng Dan Stokes
Ben Vivone Philip Brisson
Students were divided into three groups and visited organs at both St. Paul and Douglass Blvd Christian Church. Youth also watched a pipe making video and walked through the pipe chambers of the Noak organ at St. Paul. Many youth played piano pieces and other literature on the organs, including one duo that sung to their own music.
Thanks to: Will Simpson and Harrison Zoercher for coordinating the event; Ann Wade and Rob Williamson for processing registrations; Philip Brisson, Dennis Blake and Will Simpson for leading groups; Pete Weber for demonstrations; Charles Wetzelberger for the reception. |
